Hanging Onto Fall

I wish we could put freeze frame fall and hang on to it just a bit longer. I love the brilliant color of the leaves, the crunch of the leaves underfoot, the stunning blue skies, a smoky scent hanging in the air, and beautiful cool breezes with crisp, refreshing air. Helloooo October!

I absolutely adore fall. It's definitely my favorite season of all. The sky is such a brilliant blue, the leaves are bursting with fiery reds, oranges, and stunning yellows, there's the smell of a bonfire in the air, and the air itself is just so crisp and fresh. Mmmmmmm. I went for a walk in the woods yesterday and tried to get myself lost, not literally just figuratively. I think it worked. I wondered around for a little over an hour and took loads of photos! I'll have to post some soon(: There's just so much color everywhere! I enjoyed my walk while listening along to Taylor Swift. Fun times! I just love the crunchy leaves, twirling colors, carmel apples, candy corn, and all that good stuff. Not to mention, it's baseball season! It's playoff time and I'm really pulling for my all time favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. Growing up in Missouri and all, I'm a pretty die hard fan. I take my baseball very seriously. Last night's game was definitely a disappointment, but we'll win tonight! Now if only I could wear my Cardinals shirt to work.....oh well(:

Fall Time

I need someone to tell me to go to bed......otherwise I'm up all hours of the night doing the most randomest things. Honestly, there's just too much to do! Not to mention I'm such a night owl. Late night is when I feel most productive, yet at the same time I just want to sleep. Hmmmmmm, this could be problematic. On a more cheerful tone, I do believe that fall has begun to arrive! The rest of the week is looking like it'll be in the low 70s. I just love fall weather. The air is always so cool, crisp, and clean. I'm looking forward to sweaters, bonfires, cider, clear starry nights, crunching leaves, and the smell of apple peels. Can't you just taste it?? Also, I've fallen head over heels in love with the band Parachute. I've always liked them, but over Labor Day weekend I "rediscovered" them. I've bought like every single one of their songs, and it's my absolutely favorite playlist.  As fall comes closer and closer, I've really been wanting some brown boots....Aren't these just great??
